Suddenly I find myself taking on the faceless, nameless, email-less, meeting-less German system with the help of a pro bono lawyer.
Can Deutschland’s infamous bureaucracy be conquered? Do you believe in miracles? Stay tuned.

My photo of Moodymann playing an unforgettable (and hedonistic) Mister Sunday party in Brooklyn last summer was featured in Sydney’s Sunday Life Magazine this weekend.

Rainbow over the North Sea, between Denmark and Germany. Taken by my favourite Dane, Line Jensen Rogers.

Great atmosphere at Juan Atkins & Cloudface last night at The Waldorf Hotel, Vancouver.

Happy Summmer Solstice, Northern Hemisphere.

Feeling pretty down after walking along East Hastings on my way to an event tonight. The saddest and most desperate pocket of humanity I’ve ever seen in a first world country. Sending some hope to these poor lost souls.

My building is old and creaky, and I can hear my neighbours’ conversation.

All the wonderful art happening at Achtundvierzig Stunden Neukölln this weekend is making me a little homesick for Berlin. I ♥ my Kiez.

The kindness of strangers can reveal disguised blessing in a bad situation. I just met 3 lovely neighbours, one an expert lock picker, after locking my keys in my flat.

Kits pool, Vancouver.

I now have a scratch on my face after being dive-bombed by a crow! Canadian birds aren’t as welcoming as the people.
