Herbst in Reuterkiez

It’s a quiet Sunday morning in Neukölln and there’s a sense of impending hibernation in the air. The clock turned back last night and I need gloves for the first time to keep feeling in my fingers. As the sun shines rays of fading warmth and the golden leaves continue their relentless fall, we prepare ourselves psychologically for the long winter months ahead.

A Wet Winter Sunday

A wet winter Sunday around the streets of Neukölln.

Come as you are.

Here are some photos I took last Sunday around the streets of Kreuzberg and Neukölln. The light was glorious and it really felt like one of the last days of Autumn before the long winter sets in.

Final Autumn Days

The final days of Autumn in Berlin.

The temperature seems stuck on 0°. Typical minimal Berlin. I want snow!

Nowkoelln Flowmarkt

An Autumn Sunday of Tiny Art, vintage clothes, bad coffee, too many pastries, cute kids, great friends and cheap beers at Nowkoelln Flowmarkt, Berlin.

Thanks to all the wonderful Berliners, young and old, who called by our Tiny Art stall at Nowkoelln Flowmarkt today. Stay tuned for the next Tiny Art installment! Click here for pictures of the Flowmarkt.

Katrina James (I’ll Get You My Pretty) & I will be holding a tiny art stall at Nowkoelln Flowmarkt this Sunday November 6. There will be tiny art and tiny hats for sale. Examples of some tiny photos above! Our friend Ray Mann will also be performing on the Flowmarkt stage at 14:30. If you’re in Berlin on Sunday stop by and say hello. We’d love to see you there.

Sick in bed and feeling sorry for myself. At least the view from my window could be worse.

U Hermannplatz

Hermannplatz definitely has a seedy side, with homeless folk, junkies and dealers lurking in dark corners, but there’s a beauty to the constant movement and colour of this U Bahn station that I’ve come to love.
